“Desperate times call for desperate measures.” For many patients living with tooth loss and unstable dentures, that sense of urgency is all too real. Traditional dentures may seem like the only accessible solution, but they have frustrating pitfalls. You’ve tried eating more carefully and switching adhesives, but no matter what, your dentures just won’t stay put. That’s why we offer permanent dentures—not just as a solution but as a turning point. A way to stop struggling during life’s most precious moments, like enjoying a meal with your loved ones, and start living with stability, comfort, and confidence.
Why Conventional Dentures Just Don’t Cut It

Many patients grow frustrated with conventional dentures, often because of their instability. Dentures tend to become loose or fall out at the worst times. And it’s not just when you eat. They can shift even when you smile or laugh at a joke, making these everyday moments feel uncomfortable and uncertain. Fear of your false teeth popping out can even lead you to conceal your smile or hold back laughter.
Making things worse, conventional dentures lack the bite force necessary to enjoy crunchy or chewy foods. In turn, you may completely avoid your favorite foods and limit your diet, which can lead to daily frustrations and a lower quality of life. Unfortunately, the challenges don’t end there. Dentures can also be physically uncomfortable. They tend to shift and put pressure on the gums, creating painful blisters.
When you’re first considering dentures, you might not be thinking about their long-term effects. But one major downside is that they can’t replace the natural tooth roots your jaw depends on to stay strong. We rely on our tooth roots to stimulate our jawbone, keeping the bone healthy. Without this necessary stimulation, your jaw weakens, resulting in a sunken facial appearance. But your aesthetics aren’t the only concern—as your jawbone diminishes, your dentures must be realigned or adjusted to accommodate these changes.
Even though traditional dentures may seem like an economical option, they can actually cost you more in the long run, both financially and emotionally. Dr. Mignon Mapanao at Agape Dental understands these concerns and frustrations. Her goal is to keep patients happy and smiling with confidence. That’s why she offers permanent dentures, giving you the stability and comfort you deserve!
Permanent Dentures Are Life-Changing
Advancements in dentistry enable Dr. Mapanao to offer patients durable alternatives to traditional dentures. These contemporary options enhance denture stability, giving patients the freedom to smile, laugh, and eat with confidence.
At Agape Dental, we offer permanent dentures supported by mini dental implants—small titanium posts that can anchor an entire row of false teeth to the upper or lower jaw. Titanium is a medical-grade, biocompatible material that fuses naturally with the jawbone, creating a stable and durable foundation for false teeth.
Mini dental implants are slim, measuring less than 3 mm in width. Their small size has big benefits, including a minimally invasive procedure and a short recovery time.
They are also particularly valuable for stabilizing dentures. Oftentimes, patients who need full dentures or have worn them for years have experienced significant bone loss. This makes mini dental implants an ideal solution, offering dependable stability in cases where traditional implants may not be possible.
Implant Denture Options
At Agape Dental, Dr. Mapanao offers three implant denture options to meet the diverse needs of her patients.
Snap-on dentures are held in place using four to six mini implants for the lower arch and six to eight for the upper arch. This added support offers far greater stability than traditional dentures. However, you can still remove them easily for convenient at-home cleaning.
A semi-removable roundhouse bridge—or Fix-on-Six—uses six to ten mini dental implants to support a full-arch zirconia bridge. This option is only removed by Dr. Mapanao during your cleanings, giving you less to worry about at home. It also offers a more natural-looking appearance and a more comfortable fit than snap-on dentures.
For a more permanent option, we offer a non-removable roundhouse bridge. Dr. Mapanao cements this bridge onto 10-12 mini implants. This option provides the most natural look and feel, along with unrivaled chewing power. It is our most durable, stable, and long-lasting solution, designed to function like natural teeth and restore full confidence in your smile.
